Haptic Vase

The focus of this project was to experiment with both the Haptic (Touch) and Visual (Sight) qualities of surfaces. While developing technical capability in digital modeling and additive manufacturing and re-exploring previous technologies I have experienced. 

Ceramic printing is a process I’ve wanted to explore for a while as it’s a new technology that hasn’t been fully developed yet. The layers created by the ceramic printer give it a unique aesthetic and experience when you touch it.
