This was my graduation project, and I wanted to solve a problem I and others have had while recovering from leg surgery. While you recover, it's best to stay home as much as you can, but many people still want to get back outside. Aside from inside a café, it can be hard to find a reliable place to support your leg while you rest.
My solution was to design a support device that attaches to the leg brace. Through extensive research and testing, I have developed a functional product that uses leverage and telescoping to offer people the support they need. To improve the life cycle of this product, it is intended to be rented from a hospital or pharmacy, allowing it to aid many people.
