Whisker Wagon

The brief for this project was to design and develop a product that includes a ‘Strong Wool’ component to renew interest from shepherds and designers. “Strong Wool” is a locally produced fiber, comparable to Merino wool but perceived as a waste product. Throughout this project I learned to manipulate the wool and combine it with both hard and soft materials.

I designed a multi-functioning cat bed with ‘Strong wool’ padding, it includes removable pillows and base layers allowing you to take out the padding and put it into a cat carrier. I used felted canvas between the wool for reinforcing during transportation.
